Marsha Granese, MD
Dr. Granese completed her undergraduate studies at UC Santa Barbara and earned her bachelor’s degree in biology. She then attended medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine on the Caribbean island of Grenada in the West Indies. She successfully completed her residency in OBGYN at West Virginia University Women’s and Children’s Hospital affiliated with Charleston Area Medical Center. During her residency she was recognized with many accolades and awards that highlighted her passion for teaching. In private practice she was affiliated with the West Virginia University as Part-time Clinical Faculty for which she received the Outstanding Clinical Teacher of the Year award.
In 2005, Dr. Granese established her practice at “home,” near close family and friends. Since then, Dr. Granese raises her daughter and is very active with the community, speaking at local high schools and mentoring future premedical students. Her goal is to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle through spending time with family and friends, entertaining, travelling and going to the beach. She keeps active by going to the gym, with Pilates and running.
